As a staff member representing Warlock, you are expected to abide by certain principles to make sure our team remains professional, honest, fair, and respectful. If you any questions about the following guidelines, do not hesitate to contact a senior staff member regarding them. Questions and feedback are always welcomed.

  1. Act maturely, sensibly, and maintain a sense of professionalism. - As a member of this staff team, we understand that you cannot uphold the aforementioned guideline a hundred percent of the time. We all make mistakes and it is important to recognize that. We want your time as a staff member to be as stress-free as possible so all we ask that you remain professional and act maturely while still having fun and being casual. Some sub-guidelines can be found below.
    1. Do not divulge confidential information. - This includes unreleased updates/content, staff discussions, staff documents, etc. Do not break any server/discord rule. - No staff member is above the rules set.
    2. Do not be biased. - Do not treat your friends, favorite players, ranked players, etc. over any other player. Treat everyone equally, period.
    3. Be honest. - If you don’t know, then say you don’t know. Avoid spreading out misinformation that can to players being confused and perhaps even leaving. If you don’t have the answer to a player’s question then forward them to someone who does have the answer.
  2. Do not abuse any commands, permissions, or influence for personal gain. - It is vital to remember that your job is to make sure Warlock remains a safe server for players of all types to play on. You are volunteering to make sure that it does remain safe and you are given specific powers to ensure that. We ask of you that you do not use these powers for your own personal advantage. Not only are you ruining other people’s time but you are going against the very reason you are volunteering for. Some examples of abusing your permissions include going into mod mode to avoid damage, using your title to trick players to give your items, and so forth. This also includes using your powers to negatively other peoples’ games.
  3. Make sure to follow these role-specific guidelines if they apply to you. There are different teams within the staff team with different purposes and it is important to have certain guidelines for them as well alongside the guidelines provided above.
    1. Moderation Team - Collect evidence before making punishments. - Before punishing any player (especially for hacking), make sure you are able to record them cheating in vanish before you execute the punishing command. Note that for chat-related offenses, such as caps, spam, racism, etc, unless permanent, no evidence must be gathered.
    2. Build Team - Do not make any content that is inappropriate. - You are not permitted to have any sort of controversial or otherwise improper content within your builds, items, or quests as those will portray the server in a negative light.
